Characters:

Amu Hinamori: Shy, sometimes loud but rarely in this book. She is sensitive and innocent, Fragile and sweet. She has strong bonds between the other two main boy characters and just simply wants everyone to be happy. She tries really hard to make sure noone gets their feelings hurt but because she's in the middleof two guys, thats kind of hard. She faces hardships but despite how fragile she is we always know and never doubt that she can with stand anything
Ikuto Tskuyomi: Hes kind towards Amu and will always be there to protect her, he accepts her judgement. He's always hanging around and despite his cheeky pranks in the anime, he's not really like that in the books. He's a tough and cool guy, sometimes he prefers to be a silent type but if hes protecting Amu hes anything but silent.
Kukkai Souma: Friendly towards Amu. He can be a bit stubborn but a loyal friend. Kukkai really becomes more mature as the book progresses and he gets a little violent when sticking up for Amu but tends to make it out okay. He's very sporty and also a cool guy type. He's outgoing but when it comes to admitting his feelings, not so much.
Utau Hoshina: Utau appears in Book 2, around the 20th chapter. She's Ikuto's little sister. She doesnt admire him at all as much as she does in the anime. Utau is friends with Amu, but has a hard time facing the fact that Amu could be stronger than her. All the while she loves to spend time with Kukkai, though she'll never admit. Soon she begins to have a crush on him and has trouble dealing with her feelings
