Chapter 10:Micro-chip

Three X-eggs hovered above Amu. He could see the patterns, they were Amu's! Then Dia hovered above them, she was also in an X-egg! Ikuto and Yoru stood there speechless as they could actually feel all the sad energy coming from them.

 

"Useless" the four said. Then Amu character transformed with one of them, Amu had transformed into Amulet X Spade! She stepped back and used the 'X prism music' attack on Ikuto. He skidded backwards but was still standing. Then she used the 'colourful X canvas' attack on Ikuto, he dodged it. "Amu! I wont fight you! I dont want to hurt you." he yelled to her.

"but, I wont hesitate to hurt you" Amu said.

As she went into a different transformation, Amulet X Heart! Ikuto gritted his teeth and transformed into Black Lynx. Amu then used the 'Spiral X Heart special' attack. Which Ikuto accidentally made rebound on her, so she got hurt and hurt her leg. Ikuto stepped towards her and she got off the ground "stay...stay away from me!" she said. Then transformed into Amulet X Clover! She used the attack 'Re-X-make honey' Which Ikuto partly dodged but got a scratch on his shoulder. "Your usual 'Remake honey' attack fixes things but, because you have Xeggs and an X transformation, the attack only does harm." Ikuto said. Amu then did another Transformation, Amulet X Fortune! She had transformed with all of them but they were all X eggs. "Ikuto-nya. Amu is covered in sadness and darkness-nya. Really bad feeling-nya!" Yoru said to  Ikuto. Ikuto gritted his teeth, he knew that Amulet X fortunes attack was not going to be easy to dodge, so he tried to snap her out of it. "Amu, your only drowning your own energy. I wont fight you and Im going to find out whats going on." Amu stared at the ground. Ikuto continued, "why are you like this? what has he done!?" Ikuuto yelled to her. Amu looked up her eyes still the same. "Ku-kun has done nothing wrong! he makes me happy!" Amu said then  used the "Close heart" attack. Where the Amulet Fortune can make the person happy and open their heart but Amulet X fortune closes the heart, leaving the person sad. "Fight-nya!" Yoru said, inside Ikuto. Ikuto was hit by the attack but he shook it off. Annoyed, Amu turned into Amulet X Dia. She was about to hit another attack at him but then he yelled at her "He makes you happy, huh? Dont you see what he's done!? Look at your charas Amu! Look at yourself. You are broken! How are you happy!?" He yelled. Amus hypnotized eyes opened wide in shock and she froze. "I'm...i'm..happy because...because" Amus voice  continously trailed off. Amu looked at her hands "my radiance..." she saw she was transforming back. She looked at Ikuto again "I-i'm..." she trailed off and  changed back to her original form. Ikuto came over and put his hands on her shoulders. Her eyes were still lifeless, but Ikuto believed that the real her was still there. Then Amus eyes began to get heavy and she was about to fall on her knees but Ikuto caught her. She fell unconscious. Ikuto changed to his original form, "You drowned all your energy and the humpty lock's too." he said to her, but knew she couldnt hear him.

Amu's phone beeped and it was a message from Kukkai that read 'Sorry, I cant come today. Something came up. Call you later.'

Ikuto closed amus phone and clenched his jaw. He brought Amu back to her house and left her on her couch. He went walking around the streets and saw Kukkai on the oval, that afternoon, kicking around a soccer ball. He confronted Kukkai, asking him what he did to Amu, but Kukkai lies and pretends to not know whats going on but Ikuto can see right through him. Ikuto goes to the Easter company and sees his stepdad in one of the offices. Ikuto then finds out about the Micro-chip. Whilest hes walking out of the room he pushes all the papers off the desk and onto the floor. 

 

The next day, whilest Kukkai and Amu are out on Amu's balcony. Kukkai and Amu stand there next to eachother talking about how nice the sky looks then Ikuto appears. "What are you doing here?" Kukkai snapped at him. "Fixing your mess." he snapped back. "I know what you've done. I know about the  micro-chip." Kukkai blinked "what are you talking about?" he said trying to look confused. Ikuto, clenched his jaw then swung at Kukkai and punched him.  "Ku-kun!" Amu stepped towards him, but Ikuto held out his arm in front of her to stop her. Kukkai wiped his face. "whats your problem!?" he snapped at Ikuto. Ikuto swung to punch him again but Kukkai dodged. "what you've done, is my problem!" he yelled at him and swung again and punched him again. Kukkai swung at him also. Ikuto grabbed Kukkai by the colar and slammed him to wall "you bloody selfish coward!" Ikuto yelled at him, "You think im stupid!? I know you were there yesterday!" IKuto yelled at him, tightening his grip on the collar of Kukkais shirt "I know you where there. You saw it and you already know about the Xeggs, you did this! and god-dammit you didnt do anything!" Kukkai gritted his teeth and punched Ikuto, Ikuto released his grip and took the blow he wiped his face. "You seemed fine on your own and if id done anything it would just make it worse right!?" Kukkai yelled as he  swung at Ikuto. "You think its not bad enough!? You god-damn selfish brat! You dont even know what youve done!"  Ikuto yelled at him. Amu watched them punch and hit eachother. Tears streamed down her cheaks, the shine went back in her eyes and her consciousness seeped through.

"Why...why does it have to be like this? I dont- I dontwant this..." she whispered and trailed off. She stepped backwards and she didnt realise the edge of the balcony was one step away and she stepped back. Ikuto and Kukkai's eyes widened in shock as they froze and saw her begin to fall off of the balcony.
