ITS AWSOME NOT THE PART WHERE AMU'S ANGRY AT KUKAI BUT THE OTHER PARTS ARE HELLA AWSOME
Chapter 14:Who to Trust?
After a moment Ikuto replied, "from my stepfather"
Amu looked up at him, teary eyes wide with shock. "from him? but then..." Amu trailed off, thinking of how Ikuto's stepfather could have put poison or anything in the medicine, Amu froze, full of fear.
Ikuto put his hand on her shoulder, "dont worry, I checked it all before I gave it to you"
"if it wasn't a trick then you must have given him something" Amu said
"i didn't give him anything" Ikuto told her.
"then, what did you do?...what did he-" Amu paused "the embryo! you collected X eggs and looked for the embryo again, as a trade for the medicine, didn't you?"
"if it was for you, then I needed too." Ikuto replied.
"even so...Ikuto, you shouldn't, I would have been fine. Just a few days and i-"
"and you would be dead." Ikuto interrupted and Amu gasped. "that is one of the side effects and I couldn't let it happen, so can you let it go now?" he said.
Amu inhaled a deep breathe and felt the sting in her eyes "i'm sorry. I should be thanking you then, Kukkai has me worked up and I just dont know how to trust." She explained.
Ikuto pulled her close, "you can always trust me" he said then wiped her tears.
"I know" Amu whispered.
Kukkai came in through the front door of his house,
"ey' bro. Where have you been?" is eldest brother asked with a smile
"nowhere" Kukkai said as he began to walk up to his room
"Kukkai! We had dinner early today, so i'm afraid you missed out, do you want me to put something in the microwave for you?" His mother called
Kukkai stopped in the middle of the stairs and didn't turn back to look at his mother, "no thanks. I'm not hungry, I just...want some time alone." Kukkai told her and continued walking untill he got to his room, where he shut the door behind him. He sat on the floor and thought for a while, he flashed back to Amu yelling at him,
She stood there crying, "you dont get it do you? you stole those thoughts from me. You took my own free will away from me. You blurred my memory and caused this pain that i've had to bear these last few days!? But above all that, you've taken the trust I had towards you, so i can't trust you, in fact, I dont even know who you are anymore, because the Kukkai I know would never, ever do something like that...I just..I dont want to be your friend and i dont want around you anymore..your definitely not the Kukkai I knew."
Kukkai clenched his jaw at the last sentence, 'your definitely not the Kukkai I knew'
"Then who am i? Aren't I the same? i'm so confused." He muttered to himself.
Amu woke up to the sun breaking in through the gaps of her curtains, shining on her face. She walked downstairs and got some water. She heard her phone beep and went to get it, she flipped it open and saw that she had 1 new text message. it read;
Hi Amu-chan
We all miss you and hope you are doing okay. We trust that you are responsible and are taking care of things around the house, sorry that Ami, your Father and I are not back yet but we will be very soon. I heard that it is soon to snow over there, so keep warm and stay out of the blizzards. We love you
From Mumma, Papa and Ami-chan.
Amu smiled at the text message and replied,
Hi, miss you all too, I am doing well. Everything around the house is as it should be, I have sorted the mail but have left the ones addressed to you and Papa on your bed. I will be sure to stay clear of the cold wheather. See you in a few days then, Love you too.
Amu sent the message then looked out the window, remembering everthing that happened last night. She felt upset with Kukkai, but also missed him a little.
Kukkai laid on top of the blankets, resting his hands on the back of his head looking at the ceiling. He then sat up. He touched his neck because he felt a small bit of pain at the back. That pain was from a skin coloured higher advanced microchip that the head of easter, Ikuto's stepdad had control over.
